When you create an account, we collect: • Your name, username, and email address • Profile information you choose to provide (photo, bio, location) • Content you post (photos, recipes, meal descriptions, ingredients, steps) • Social activity (posts liked, recipes cooked, accounts followed, comments) We also collect device push notification tokens to send you activity alerts, and crash/error reports to help us fix bugs.
We use your information to: • Provide and operate the cooked. platform • Personalise your feed based on who you follow • Send push notifications about likes, comments, follows, and cooks • Monitor app stability and fix crashes (via Sentry) • Enforce our Terms of Service and community standards We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
cooked. uses the following third-party services to operate: • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (supabase.com/privacy) • Sentry — crash reporting and error monitoring (sentry.io/privacy) • Apple / Google — if you sign in with Apple or Google, their respective privacy policies also apply These services process data only as necessary to provide their functionality.
Your public profile, posts, and activity are visible to other users by default. If you set your account to Private, only approved followers can see your content. We may share data with: • Service providers listed above who help us operate the platform • Law enforcement when required by law We never share your email address or private data with other users.
With your permission, we send push notifications when someone likes, comments on, follows you, or cooks one of your recipes. You can disable notifications at any time in your device Settings or within the app under Settings → Push Notifications.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes. Comments and interactions involving other users may persist in an anonymised form.

cooked. is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
